While Gwyneth Paltrow has long been a resource for all things beauty advice and recommendations, thanks to her long-standing lifestyle platform and now shoppable beauty brand, Goop, we still get excited any time the brand founder and wellness guru gives us an inside glimpse into the products sheβs using behind the scenes. In a recent interview with Marie Claire, Paltrow got a little saucy with things, revealing her go-to date-night fragrance, the key to a sensual shower experience and the skin-care product sheβs loved for the longest time.
Gwyneth Paltrow Dishes Her Sexy (and Not-So Sexy) Beauty Secrets
As part of Marie Claireβs In the Mood franchise, Paltrow sat down to talk all things beauty, but with a sexy spin, dishing the deets on how she incorporates romance into her day-to-day routine, and it starts with a βsensual showerβ experience. βI like to put essential oils in the shower and use ourΒ body scrub,β she says. βI also like to dry brush beforehand to invigorate the skin, exfoliate, and get theΒ lymphaticsΒ going. Then I use a double exfoliant in the shower with essential oils.β
While she noted that shaving her legs is the least sexy task that makes her feel the most confident, Paltrow also revealed to the outlet that her go-to date-night fragrance for spicing things up is none other than Vyrao Mamajuju Eau de Parfum ($220). βIt smells warm and itβsΒ spicyΒ but not too spicy,β she told the outlet. βIt has a veryΒ earthy, warm sense to it.β Loyal to her Goop formulas, Paltrow also opened up about the skin-care product she canβt live without, flagging face oils as her longest-standing beauty love. βIβve used it for decades, partly because Iβve always been on the dry side,β she explained. βI naturally massaged my face with oil long beforeΒ gua shaΒ tools were what they are now. I feel like I just naturally always did that with face oil. And I think that combination of oil and keeping the skin really beautifully hydrated with massage is a great beauty tip.β
