[ad_1]
The behind-the-scenes beauty buzz from the 77th Emmy Awards is still going strong, and this time, it comes courtesy of the ever-iconic Jennie Garth. At the Emmyβs Governors Gala, theΒ Beverly Hills, 90210Β alum turned headsβnot just for her radiant skin, but for the inspiring cause she came to support.
Garth was on hand to spotlight GSKβsΒ THRIVE@50+Β campaign, a powerful initiative uniting influential women over 50 to celebrate aging, embrace wellness and raise awareness about key health risksβnamely shingles. The campaign aims to empower adults 50 and older to take charge of their health with confidence and knowledge.
While she graciously shared her glowing-skin go-tos (and her late-night makeup-removal plans), Garth also opened up about why this mission matters so deeply to her and how inner confidence is her best accessory.

Why did you come out tonight in support of the campaign?
βWell, Iβm so excited to come together with this group of beautiful women. We are all thriving, so it was a natural partnership for us to join GSKβs THRIVE@50+campaign to really remind women that itβs time to choose ourselvesβitβs time to prioritize our health and our well-being. And a really important message along that line is for people to know their risks for a very painful rash, called shingles, that nobody wants to have. But it really affects so many peopleβone in three will get it in theirΒ lifetime, in fact. So, we are just here, having the time of our life and talking about something important, while being all beautified!β
The campaign name is all about βthrive.β What does thriving mean to you?Β
βIt means spending time with people that elevate you, it means listening to your instincts, it means choosing yourself and it means doing whatever you want!βΒ
What are you most excited for tonight during the Emmys?Β
βI am most excited for all the beautyβall the gowns, all the gorgeous makeup and the hair. I love the Emmys. I sit and watch it from my living room, and Iβve been here before, but itβs been a minute, so Iβm just excited to return to the red carpet. Iβm ready to feel all the feelings with such a unique group of people.βΒ
What is your red-carpet ritual for days like this? The skin care, makeup, wellness, hair, all of it.
βItβs all about the glow, you know? So you have get your skin care dialed in! For me, itβs about having that natural glow and that inner confidence that I think shines throughβ¦so that is just working on that for myself, and trying to drink a ton of water!Β
What are you doing after you get home?Β
βOh my gosh, when I get home, Iβm collapsing into my bed, hoping someone else will take my makeup offβmaybe my husband will do it for me. He can also help me get out of this dress, and Iβm looking forward to cuddling with my dogs in bed.β
