[ad_1]
Whether youβre a lifelong Swiftie or youβre just surrounded by them at every turn, you know that yesterday was a big day in Taylor Nation. Not only did we find out that Swift would be making a very rare on-camera appearance on her lover (pun intended) Travis Kelceβs βNew Heightsβ podcast this week, we got word just past midnight last night that the singerβs 12th studio album is officially on the way. Before the exciting news was confirmed, though, Swift gave us a beauty-related hint at her new era, sporting a rusty orange lip in the preview for the Kelce brothersβ big episode.
Taylor Swift Welcomes New Era and Declares the Lip Color of the Fall
For several of Swiftβs self-proclaimed βeras,β sheβs been known to rock a bright red lip, with fans everywhere fawning over what shade sheβs using and sporting the crimson color to her concerts and more. But, if weβve learned anything from decades of Swiftie detective work, itβs that everything is a sign, and we should always expect the unexpected. So, when Swift appeared on the Kelce brothersβ βNew Heightsβ set we were shocked already, but when she switched her lip color for an unexpected autumnal shade, our Swiftie senses started tingling.
Sitting next to long-time boyfriend Travis Kelce, Swiftβs look was mostly signature, featuring her sharp cat eye and soft blowout, but her noticeably muted lip was what caught our eyes most. Ditching her signature juicy red for a matte, rusty orange color, Swift hinted at a new era and introduced her upcoming album βThe Life of a Showgirlβ in the teaser for the new episode. While we donβt know much about the album other than the name, the color of Swiftβs lip was no mindless decision, as her website, the briefcase she used to reveal the album and even the Empire State Building featured pops of orange and coral to celebrate the new endeavor. So, to recap: all in one day, Taylor Swift announced an ultra rare podcast appearance, a new album and declared rustic orange the lip color of the season. What canβt she do!
