An homage to fashion, a love story to New York City, a celebration of mature womenβAnd Just Like Thatβ¦ is all those things and more. And now that Carrie Bradshaw has strutted her last tutu and the book is closed on the Sex and the Cityfranchise, weβre taking a look back on the top beauty moments of the sequel series. From gorgeous face-framing waves to sultry smokey eyes, these are the best beauty looks of And Just Like Thatβ¦
What Makes the Makeup
As a celebration of the SAIC women, And Just Like Thatβ¦βs approach to beauty was about centering and enhancing the stars without trying to make them look younger. The showβs makeup department head, Sherri Laurence previously told Bustle that βthe goal was to appreciate where they are now. We werenβt trying to make them look 20,β she says.
Each star works with their own personal makeup artist, who ultimately create the looks that ended up on screen. And if youβre after her elevated glow, Sara Jessica Parkerβs makeup artist, Elaine Offers Woulard, shared the exact products used to create Carrie Bradshawβs looks. The trick is those multi-dimensional blushes, creating a natural but elegant flush.

The Look: Carrieβs Face-Framing Updo and Smokey Eye
Sarah Jessica Parkerβs classic smokey eye is refined and simple, making her blue eyes look incredible. Her casual-but-perfect updo draws the eye to her striking gaze, and those face-framing blond curls feel so luxe.

The Look:Β Charlotteβs Tennis-Core Pony
This whole look screams playing tennis in the Hamptons before late brunch. We donβt get too many glimpses of Charlotte with her hair up, and every time itβs a reminder of how upscale and elegant a simple ponytail can look.

The Look: Carrieβs Met Hair
Architectural, interesting and definitely Carrie, this look doesnβt just repurpose her (failed) wedding dress, but also showcases her maturity and evolution.

The Look: Carrieβs Date Night Look
Obviously Carrieβs look to reunite with Aiden had to be a stunner, and these glossy, face-framing waves are up to the task. Her signature makeup look is ever-so-slightly pared back for a refreshed look that matches her floral hooded cape and the butterflies in her stomach.
Known for her ginger super-short bob, (though we werenβt opposed to her going gray either!), this look stands out for the off-the-forehead volume that gives Miranda a modern, elegant vibe.

The Look: Seemaβs Bombshell Bedhead
Is there anything more sensual than a high-powered woman with her hair down? Seemaβs almost regal elegance is highlighted here by a gorgeous blowout, tousled for that undone feeling.

The Look: Lisaβs Red Lip
This blue-red lip absolutely stuns on Nicole Ari Parker, and combined with the reserved eye and brow look, it takes on a classic Hollywood starlet vibe.

The Look: Carrieβs Homage Hair
If youβre not in the loop, one of the biggest gripes viewers had withΒ And Just Like Thatβ¦ was about Carrieβs hair being a little too perfect. Thatβs corrected here with this gorgeous homage to her big β90s waves, where volume and highlights do all the talking.
